Psychotherapy with Maya

——– Privacy Policy ——–

I will only collect information that has a legitimate purpose. I adhere to data protection legislation and will outline my privacy policy below:

When you get in contact with me, I collect and process your name, email address and telephone number. If we start working together, I will keep anonymised notes of our sessions as a memory aid.

All your identifiable information is kept password protected on my laptop which only I have access to. All notes that I keep about our sessions are anonymised and will not contain any identifiable information about you.

Our sessions are confidential but there might be times where we need to review the conditions such  if I’m required by law or I feel you or someone is at risk. I will always discuss this with you first.

I will retain this information for as long as we are working together and then kept for three years after the end of therapy (in line with the  window for complaints to be lodged with the UKCP) and then destroyed.
